Calcifying Epithelioma Of Malherbe

Abstract
Twenty-six examples of calcifying epithelioma of Malherbe were examined by periodic acid-Schiff, Hale's, dihydroxyl-dinaphthyl disulfide, Congo red, methyl violet, and Prussian blue techniques. All the tumors were found to show positive reactions with one or more of these histochemical procedures. The significance of these positive reactions was discussed in relation to the calcification characteristic of these tumors and possible presence of amyloid in them.
