Abstract
Using the response of the vaginal introitus of immature [female] rats as the criterion, stilbestrol was approx. 12 times as active as estrone by oral adm., and 32 times as active as when injected subcut. The increase in uterine wt. of the same animals followed a similar course as the vaginal opening, but the results were less suitable for a comparison of the responses to stilbestrol and estrone. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
