Abstract
A culture of E. contorta, rodent species of coccidium reported to infect mice and rats, was passaged through rats and mice. The oocysts subsequently recovered from these rats gave protection against E. nieschulzi. The oocysts recovered from the mice provided protection against E. falciformis. The original culture was probably a mixture of E. nieschulzi and E. falciformis though labeled E. contorta. E. contorta is probably not a valid species of coccidium. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
