Spectral Distribution of Scattered Radiation in a Water Phantom Irradiated with Cesium-137 Gamma Rays

Abstract

The scattered spectral distributions for a Cs137 unit directed at a water phantom are presented for depths of 0, 5, 10 and 20 cm and areas of 25, 100 and 400 cm2. The data may be used to determine the effect of these parameters on the LET of this radiation source.
