Abstract
Febrile reactions to methyldopa are one of the side effects of this relatively new antihypertensive drug introduced in this country in 1963.1 To our knowledge, only 17 documented cases of patients with fever due to methyldopa have been reported.2-11 During a three-month period, three patients were referred to Ohio State University Hospital because of unexplained fevers which were subsequently proved to be related to methyldopa. It is the purpose of this report to describe these three patients as well as a previous patient with a similar problem encountered in 1963.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
