Abstract
An overview of recent developments of Gigabit wireless communication links at millimeter-waves in Japan is presented. A 1.25 Gbps wireless Gigabit Ethernet link and a 1.485 Gbps high definition SDI link have been developed adopting 60 GHz-band ASK transceivers. 10 Gbps wireless data transmission has been demonstrated using 120 GHz millimeter-wave photonic technologies. 622 Mbps FWA systems at 36.25/37 GHz-band (uplink/downlink) have been constructed. Keywords
