Abstract
The influence of the soil structure on coefficients of radial and vertical conductivity is studied. Evaluation of the data shows that the flaky shape of clay particles and its orientation with reference to vertical and horizontal axes give more hydraulic conductivity in the horizontal than in the vertical direction. It is also seen that the hydraulic conductivity ratio increases as the void ratio or porosity decreases. © Williams & Wilkins 1972. All Rights Reserved. Keywords
