Abstract
Antioxidant activity was measured in cord sera from 25 infants whose birth weights ranged from 830 to 3700 g. Antioxidant activity showed a significant positive association with birth weight. Deficiency in serum antioxidant activity may be important in the pathogenesis of certain neonatal disorders such as retinopathy of prematurity. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
