Abstract
The origin of the hyaluronic acid in the synovia has been studied by the method of Hale. In the synovia and in the synovialis there were found alkaline phosphatase, diastase and lipase. Peroxydase, vitamin C, acid phosphatase and aneurinpyrophosphatase could be found in the synovial-membrane only. Low-molecular substances are not stored in the synovialis. The origin of the synovia is shown by its histochemical reaction, it is a secretion of the synovial-membrane, it also contains some nonspecific hematogenous substances. Keywords
