Abstract
Growth of S. cerevisiae in a medium containing radioactive sulfate produced radioactive S-containing thiamine of high specific activity in small amounts. Radioactive S-containing thiamine, its phosphates and its precursor were investigated on paper chromatograms. No intermediate of thiazole biosynthesis accumulated in detectable amounts. Keywords
