Abstract
The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in south China is on the verge of a predicted HIV explosion. After reviewing the transmission environment in the region, the authors present the findings from their survey of 103 drug abusers undergoing detoxification treatment in Nanning, the capitol of Guangxi, and suggest broad policy changes in light of the analysis. Keywords
