“Recurrence” of a Plasma Cell Granuloma 11 Years After Initial Resection

Abstract
Plasma cell granulomas of the lung are usually benign tumors found incidentally on chest x-ray film, though some have been found to be locally invasive. Our report of a plasma cell granuloma recurring 11 years after the initial resection emphasizes that complete surgical resection should be done whenever possible.
