Abstract
Bauschlicher, Walch, and Siegbahn’s1 calculations on the structure of Cu2 molecule are commented on. Semi−empirical arguments are suggested to support the thesis that the bond in this molecule is a triple bond and not a single bond as suggested by Bauschlicher, Walch, and Siegbahn in their calculations.
