Abstract
An apparatus is described which may be used to grow and maintain single crystals at temperatures down to approximately −180 °C. The crystals may be grown directly upon the head of the X-ray goniometer in order to permit the recording of data required for the investigation of the crystalline structure of substances which exist in the liquid or gaseous states at ordinary temperatures. Keywords
