Abstract
The author shows that the treatment of bound and confined states for a class of confinement potentials by application of the analytic continued fraction method, as presented in a recent paper (Dalta et al., ibid., vol.13, p.3161, 1980), is erroneous and may lead to wrong results for the eigenvalues of the relevant Schrodinger equation. Keywords
