Solar Power

Abstract
“We would like to propose a possible method of producing energy from solar radiation at a reasonable cost….By using plastics presently available it may be possible to solve the economic problems of collection….and the energy may be converted via thermal dissociation of water into hydrogen, an efficient, nonpolluting fuel.” Norman Ford, associate professor, and Joseph Kane, assistant professor, are members of the department of physics and astronomy, Hasbrouck Laboratory, University of Massachusetts.
