Abstract
The theory of preferential etching at dislocations has been presented by Cabrera. In the present report the theory is reviewed and compared to empirical observations on the dissolution of lithium fluoride. The observed dissolution behavior is consistent with Cabrera's theory as modified by the effect of dissolution poisons. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
