Abstract
Macrofossils of C. richardsonii, a moss not found in the living state in Britian, were identified in mineral wash deposits from Mainland Shetland. Associated macrofossils and pollen indicate a Late Devensian origin and correlation of pollen spectra with those of a similar 14C-dated site in Shetland suggests a data of around 10,400 B.P.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
