Abstract
An in-depth evaluation of 88 patients who received inflatable penile prostheses generated survival plots for the prosthesis as a total unit and for each of the component parts. A plot of the prosthesis survival for first implantation revealed that 50% survived 2.5 years without failure. Cylinder malfunction was responsible for the greatest decrease in prosthesis life expectancy. This publication has 20 references indexed in Scilit:
