Abstract
Systemic MycosesIncluded in this category are diseases caused by a wide variety of fungi, each of which may invade any tissue of the body, producing widespread infection resulting in death. These fungi induce a granulomatous type of infection, and differential diagnosis must include tuberculosis, syphilis, granulomas and neoplasms.
