Abstract
The absorption of nutrient elements by the rice plant at different stages of growth has been reported by various authors (1, 2, 3, 4). The process differs depending upon the nature of the element involved. A number of authors agree, however, that the amount of an element in the plant increases as the plant develops, and no appreciable decrease takes place, even at the later stages of growth. Keywords
