Abstract

The descriptions of the 8 spp. included in the paper are based on fresh material. 6 of these are new and are assigned the following names: S. modiolensis on Modiola caroliniana, S. chiltonii on Stellaria media, S. cerastii on Cerastium viscosum, S. edgertonii on Dichondra repens, S. lepidii on Lepidium virginicum, and S. hydrocotyles on Hydrocotyle spp.
