ISOLATION OF LOW-VIRULENT MOUSE HEPATITIS VIRUS FROM NUDE MICE WITH WASTING SYNDROME AND HEPATITIS

Abstract
Mouse hepatitis viruses were isolated on [mouse] DBT cell culture from affected livers in most nude mice having wasting syndrome and chronic hepatitis. These nude isolates were pathogenic for cortisone-treated ICR weanling mice but not for non-treated ones.
