Abstract
There was an increase in the content of ascorbic acid and in the activity of ascorbic acid oxidase in soybean during germination. MgCl2 and Mn(NO3)2 in concns. of approx. 10 p.p.m. of the metallic ions, caused some increase in the ascorbic acid content and ascorbic acid oxidase activity of soybean germinated in the salt solns. in the dark. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
