Abstract
The phytochemical examination of the whole plant of Zizyphus-nummularia resulted in the isolation and identification of Manogenin, Taxifolin and an unknown compound Taxifolin–3–glucoside. Zizyphus-nummularia (Rhamnaceae) is reputed for its medicinal importance [1, 2]. The plant was selected for chemical examination because a review of the available literature here revealed that no work has been done on this plant. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
