Abstract

The preparation and properties of the complexes π-C₅H₅MoOBr₂, π-C₅H₅MoO₂Br, π-C₅H₅MoCl₄, π-C₅H₅MoBr₄, and [π-C₅H₅MoO₂]₄ are described. Possible structures are discussed in the light of molecular-weight measurement and i.r. and ¹H n.m.r. spectra. An improved method of preparation of [π-C₅H₅MoO₂]₂ is given.
