Abstract
Radioalbumin I131 macro-aggregates were injected into the right carotid artery in 25 rabbits and immediately lodged in capillaries in both the gray and white matter in 1 or both cerebral hemispheres. The greatest diameter of the macroaggregates ranged from 25 to 50 m[mu]. No clinical, gross pathologic or microscopic alterations in the experimental animals were produced. This method, if performed using macroaggregates of the same size will not produce brain tissue damage and may well be utilized in human patients. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
