Abstract
Four dogs on a diet deficient in the vitamin B complex developed disturbances in gastric motility associated with anhydremia. Control dogs, receiving a complete diet but limited in food and water intake to that consumed by the companion vitamin B deficient animals, showed in some cases similar but usually less pronounced changes. It was concluded that anhydremia resulting either from restricted water consumption or B-avitaminosis diminished the motor activity of the stomach. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
