Abstract
Extended x-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) has been used to investigate the metal environment in a number of metallothioneins (MT). In all cases, the primary coordination sphere consists of sulphur atoms. In some cases, evidence for cluster formation is obtained.Keywords
