Stereotaxic brain atlas of the prosimian primate Galago senegalensis

Abstract
The atlas comprised 31 frontal sections of the forebrain, extending from the inferior colliculus to the olfactory bulb. It can be used for adult males and females with a body weight between 190-240 g and a bregma-lamda distance from 17.0-17.5 mm. A device was described which fits a stereotaxic apparatus for the rat and allows a G. senegalensis skull to be fixed. The skull landmarks were the lower orbital margins and the external auditory meati. The zero point was taken in the mid-sagittal plane, 5 mm above the interaural line.
