Abstract
The implementation of analogue current mode signal processing systems is strongly dependent on the availability of suitable generic building blocks such as current conveyors and current operational amplifiers. Until recently, no such devices were commercially available as integrated circuits. Still only a few devices are found on the market, of which the second generation current conveyor (CCII +) is the most versatile device. In this paper it is shown how a wide selection of generic current mode circuits can be built from a small number of CCII + conveyors. Experimental results obtained using a commercially available device are presented and it is shown that, with this device, signal processing bandwidths of about 10 MHz are achievable. Keywords
