Abstract
Torque generated about the ankle joints during maximum isometric contraction of the plantar flexor muscles was measured in a 30 yr old female 4 mo. after unilateral excision of the entire triceps surae muscle. The resulting torque output on the operated limb was only 38% of that for the normal limb. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
