Abstract
The dynamic tripod grip during handwriting was examined among 7-14-yr-old children. Four components were measured: degree of index-finger flexion; degree of forearm pronation/supination; number of fingers used on the pencil shaft; and thumb and forefinger opposition. Developmental trends were identified for the first 2 measures and suggesting refinement of the dynamic tripod grip with age. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
