Acupuncture Treatment of Osteoarthritis

Abstract
Two cases of drug resistant osteoarthritis were effectively treated using acupuncture. Sessions of up to 40min twice a week for 3 to 5 weeks were required to induce remission of pain, joint swelling and stiffness. Benefits were still seen at the six month follow-up.Keywords
