Abstract
The field dependence of the second moment of the fluorine nuclear magnetic resonance absorption was studied in PbF4, ZrF4, CeF4⋅nH2O, VF4, and TiF4 over the 9–18 kG range. The chemical shift and the zero field value of the second moment are discussed in terms of the known general features of the respective crystal structures and comparisons are made with the results on other tetrafluoride compounds which have been previously reported. Keywords
