Abstract
The results of the analyses are reported of the 16O-16O potential calculated by the use of the resonating group method as a typical example of the potential between two light heavy-ion nuclei. The analyses are on such basic properties as the shape, its energy-dependence and its angular-momentum-dependence. Our main purpose is to study what features are similar and dissimilar between the heavy-ion potential of the 16O-16O system and the light-ion potentials. Keywords
