Abstract
Two-site lectin-haptoglobin-enzyme immunosorbent assay (L-Hp-ELISA), is described. Haptoglobin binding to Concanavalin A, immobilized to polystyrene microtiter plate, was estimated by anti-haptoglobin poly-clonal and monoclonal antibodies conjugated with horse-radish peroxidase. The range of haptoglobin binding to Concanavalin A, measured by the L-Hp-ELISA was 25 to 300 ng/ml using polyclonal, and 50 to 600 ng/ml using monoclonal anti-haptoglobin antibodies, respectively. Keywords
