Abstract
This chapter is a synthesis of selected issues relating to the analysis and presentation of dietary data, building on recent experiences of those working in this field. Topics discussed include data cleaning, categorized versus continuous presentation of independent variables, graphic presentation of data, examination of foods and nutrients, the use of multiple dietary assessments in prospective studies, multivariate analyses, empirical dietary scores, and error correction.Keywords
