Abstract
Nine collaborators studied a method for determining vitamin B6 and pyridoxine, pyridoxal, and pyridoxamine in foods and like materials. The 3 vitamin B6 components in food extracts were eluted in separate fractions from an ion exchange column and determined separately by microbiological assay, using the yeast S. carlsbergensis as the test organism. It is recommended that the method be adopted as official first action.Keywords
