Abstract
In 50 women who had 5 successive pregnancies the difference was studied between the mean maternal weight at the 20th wk of gestation and 6 wk post partum. The difference changed from a weight loss to a weight gain in the 4th and 5th pregnancies. The maximum weight increment occurred between the end of the 1st pregnancy and the 20th wk of the 2nd, especially in obese multiparae. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
