A Preliminary Report on the Hydrophilic Characteristics of Poly (Calcium Acrylate)-Cotton

Abstract
The product of polymerization of calcium acrylate in cotton print cloth was found to exhibit increases in hydrophilic characteristics over the original fabric in water of imbibition, moisture regain; drop absorbency, sinking time, wicking time, water vapor permeability, and wet wrinkle recovery angle.
