Abstract
Synopsis: Eighteen populations of pearl millet singlecrosses (818 in all) tested over an 11‐year period varied greatly in the percentage of nonadditive genetic variance exhibited. On the average, 55.9% of their total genetic variance for forage yield was of the nonadditive type.Keywords
