Abstract
Summary The determination of steroid-receptors in human prostatic tissue from 68 patients with benign prostatic hypertrophy(BPH) and 36 patients with prostatic cancer by the method of cold agargel-electrophoresis is described. The results are discussed in the light of several problems inherent to this assay. There are certain indications that there is a correlation between steroid-receptor values and response to endocrine therapy. Keywords
