Abstract
The study of transient voltages in transformer windings has aroused interest recently with the presentation of more efficient methods of modelling. This paper presents a method of modelling the magnetic field of an air-core disk winding which has sections lumped together. Past methods have proved to be cumbersome and required detailed representations of the winding. The method presented allows direct computation of the self-and mutual inductances fop lumped sections and is shown to be accurate compared to classical methods. Keywords
