Abstract
A method is described for the separation of (-)-(1R,2S, 5R)-1-(1-methyl-1-phenylethyl)-5-methylcyclohexanol (1; 8-phenylimenthol) in preparative amounts in the form of its chloroacetatce 3 from the accompanying diastereomer 2, which is formed according to Corey's synthesis.Keywords
