Microcomputers in Social Service Settings: Research Applications

Abstract
The microcomputer revolution offers great potential benefits for social work researchers. The authors discuss experiences in microcomputer applications in social work settings, including designing client records and process notes; establishing filing and record-keeping systems, and performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of data stored on diskettes. They also consider the applications of easy-to-use and reliable software packages available in the general marketplace.
