Abstract
Studies of Hb concs., erythrocyte counts and cell vol. tests are presented on young ?? from 6 colleges and universities located in the North Central States. The mean Hb conc. was 13.4 g./100 ml. blood with a standard error of 0.017. Mean erythrocyte count was 4.56 [plus or minus] 0.009 million cells/cmm. and mean cell vol. was 40.0 [plus or minus] 0.07%. Normal standards for Hb conc., red cell counts and cell vols. must be interpreted as a range of values which is wider than the ranges recorded by earlier studies. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
