Abstract
The separation and quantitation of radiolabeled acetylmethadol and its metabolites by thin-layer chromatography is described. The use of plates with a preadsorbent dispensing area permits direct application of biofluids without the need for preliminary extraction. The analysis of a sample of bile obtained following the administration of radiolabeled acetylmethadol to a baboon illustrates the application of this method to pharmacokinetic studies.
