Abstract
Chlordimeform synergized many insecticides against larvae of an insecticide resistant population of Heliothis virescens (F). Types of insecticides synergized included organophosphates, pyrethroids, a carbamate, a chlorinated preparation, and an insect growth regulator. Levels of synergism were 2- to 3-fold with methyl parathion and monocrotophos, insecticides highly toxic to Heliothis , and as much as 17-fold with less toxic chemicals such as pyrethrins and TH 6040.Keywords
