Abstract
Five diabetic patients and 3 non-diabetics were subjected to a dietary supplement of 20 g per day of myo-inositol (40 .times. the normal ingestion) for 14 days. This amount neither produced toxic side-effects nor changed the peripheral nervefunction expressed by motor conduction velocity or resistance to ischaemia. Keywords
